Shamanic Healing
Ground. Connect. Release.

Shamanic healing is an ancient, cross-cultural method of addressing spiritual and energetic imbalances that can manifest as emotional distress, physical symptoms, chronic patterns, or a general sense of disconnection. Rooted in the teachings of Sandra Ingerman and Michael Harner, this practice integrates time-tested techniques with contemporary sensitivity and ethics.
In the core shamanic framework developed by Harner and expanded upon by Ingerman, the practitioner enters a non-ordinary state of consciousness (typically through drum or rattle-induced trance) to access spiritual information, retrieve lost parts of the self (soul retrieval), remove intrusive energies, or connect with compassionate helping spirits for guidance and healing.

This approach does not replace psychological or medical treatment, but it can serve as a powerful complement—especially in cases where individuals feel stuck, disempowered, or spiritually fragmented despite other interventions.

Who Is This For?

This session is appropriate for adults who are:

-Experiencing a loss of vitality, purpose, or emotional resilience
-Seeking resolution for persistent patterns or symptoms that don’t respond to conventional treatments
-Feeling energetically overwhelmed or depleted
-Recovering from trauma, grief, or major life transitions
-Open to a therapeutic approach that includes spiritual and energetic dimensions

Clients do not need prior experience with shamanic work. A willingness to be open, grounded, and participatory in the process is all that is required.
What to Expect:
Each session is structured to provide deep, individualized care within a safe and respectful container.

1. Comprehensive Intake (30–40 minutes)
We begin with a thorough review of your concerns, symptoms, history, and goals. This conversation is designed to identify potential areas of soul loss, energetic intrusion, ancestral patterns, or spiritual disconnection that may be contributing to your experience.

2. Shamanic Journeywork (30–40 minutes)
You will lie comfortably while the practitioner enters a shamanic state of consciousness using rhythmic percussion. Guided by compassionate helping spirits, the practitioner will perform the necessary healing
this may include:

- Soul retrieval
- Extraction of intrusive energies
- Power animal retrieval
- Ancestral healing
- Divination or guidance for current challenges
All work is conducted with consent and in alignment with the client’s well-being.
3. Energywork and Integration (20–30 minutes)
Following journeywork, energy balancing and light hands-on or off-body work may be offered to support integration. This helps to ground the healing, recalibrate the nervous system, and restore coherence to the energy field.

4. Post-Session Support and Aftercare (15–20 minutes)
We conclude with time to discuss the healing received, ask questions, and outline any aftercare practices. Clients are often given simple rituals, journaling prompts, or meditative practices to assist with integration over the coming weeks.

A Clinically Minded Approach

While this work is rooted in ancient traditions, it is offered through a trauma-informed, psychologically aware, and ethically grounded lens. Your confidentiality, agency, and emotional safety are prioritized throughout the session.

This is not a faith-based or dogmatic practice; it is a practical methodology for working with the unseen layers of human experience—those that often lie beneath cognitive understanding or verbal expression.
